Pterocles namaqua
Namaqua Sandgrouse is not territorial, is monogamous and uses a simple nest to incubate on the ground. They will incubate 2-3 eggs per week and taking turns both of them. They live in desert areas with a few rains. Their distribution is in the South of Angola, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa and Lesotho.
Son aves no territoriales, monógamas y disponen de un nido muy simple en la tierra. Incubarán 2-3 huevos por 3 semanas y se turnarán de manera que la hembra incubará durante la noche y el macho durante el día.
También son aves nómadas y parcialmente migratorias y su población se distribuye en áreas semidesérticas con pocas precipitaciones.
Se distribuyen y migran en y entre el sur de Angola, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, Sudáfrica y Lesoto.
